Our Story Started With Real Experience and a Real Need
Our story begins with Blaine Drew, our founder and owner. Blaine grew up in Gilford and has been in construction his entire life. Before roofing, he worked as a mason and built his reputation through hard work, skill, and a willingness to do things the right way. After an injury forced him to change course, he did what a lot of strong, determined people do. He adapted.
He started a handyman business and kept learning, working, and listening to what local homeowners and business owners actually needed. One problem kept coming up again and again. Too many people were replacing roofs far more often than they should, especially after dealing with brutal winters, heavy snow loads, ice, wind, and the constant wear that comes with living in this part of the state.
That is what led us to launch Drew’s Affordable Steel Roofing in 2000.
We built this company around a simple idea: people deserve a roofing system that lasts longer, performs better, and does not force them into the same expensive cycle every 15 years. From the beginning, our goal was to offer durable, affordable steel roofing backed by honest guidance and quality workmanship.

How We’ve Grown Over the Years
As we’ve grown, we’ve also expanded our ability to serve customers with different roofing needs. That is why we added our sister company, Shingle Pro LLC, for those who need asphalt or TPO roofing systems. While steel roofing remains our specialty, we know every property is different. Blaine is a lifelong Gilford resident, former mason, and the person who built this company from the ground up. He handles sales and leads the business with a practical mindset rooted in real experience. His focus has always been on giving customers solutions that make sense and staying involved in the community that helped shape him. He lives in Gilford with his girlfriend and their three children, who stay busy with hockey, skiing, volleyball, track, and golf.

Dennis brings a calm, steady presence to every estimate. As a retired police officer with strong construction experience, he knows how to communicate clearly and keep things straightforward. Customers appreciate that he tells it like it is and takes the time to explain options without pressure. He lives in Gilford with his wife Chantelle and their five children.
